Lejaby
Lejaby got its start back in 1930 in Bellegarde sur Valserine in France and is one of Europe’s leading designer brands today. In 1950, the company revolutionized the lingerie market with the introduction of their first exclusive nylon lace. In 1960, again they came out with a fabric that used a new material called Lycra. In the 1970s, Lejaby saw the liberation of women and they dared to use bold colors in their garments, which ended up marking the start of colored lingerie!
With extensive experience in the lingerie market, Lejaby’s products combine sophistication and impeccable fit as well as keeping with the French corsetry tradition, according to the company website. Today the brand is present in over 13,500 retail outlets worldwide and has managed to successfully build its reputation among massive lingerie competitors.
The latest collections available include the Nuage and the Envies lines. Each is unique and offers a selection of coordinating bras and panties.
The Nuage by Lejaby line is designed seam-free so that it can be worn beneath even the tightest fitting clothes. Bras are extremely sexy and functional for multi-purpose wear under clothing. The fabric’s edges are raw cut for minimal texture, however lace in the band offers women Japanese-style flowers for added sexiness without showing through clothing.
The other major collection is the Envies by Lejaby line. These bras are designed with ultra-sophisticated and sexy style in mind. Many are red, rich purple, black or brown. Some are ultra-transparent and include fine lace, ribbons, frills and satin in contrasting colors. Immaculate detail goes into the fabrics and details on each piece in the line. These bras are ultra-sexy and will make you feel glamorous!
For women looking for luxury pieces with function and extremely sexy, artistic detail, Lejaby is worth investing in.
Several years ago, I purchased three bodysuits (older version of nuage) in size 34 A from Bergdorf Goodman in New York. Shortly after that, Lejaby stopped making bodysuits with an A cup. I have not been able to find a bodysuit of the same quality in my size. Any possibility of making this size again in nuage? I am sure I am not the only woman in the world with an A cup who wears bodysuits. Thank you.
