Size 38KKK - That Can’t Be Right…

Sheyla Hershey has attained what no woman has attained before: size 38KKK breasts.

What is even more astounding is that she deliberately did this to herself. In fact, she left the US for Brazil in order to get the size of implant that she wanted. (Texas apparently has limits on how much you can enhance your cleavage - and Hershey wanted to by-pass such undemocratic restrictions.)

What might boggle your mind even further is that Hershey had already increased her natural assets to 34FFF, through 8 surgeries and a full gallon of silicone. (Apparently, she hasn’t heard that silicone implants can break and cause nasty health issues.)

Perhaps I’m just a prude of the Victorian sort, but what would possess any woman to want breasts that big?

As someone who is a naturally produced 38DDD (or 38EE or 38F), I can tell you that it’s not easy to get a lovely bra when you reach these lofty sizes. Bras in bigger cup sizes have only recently been appearing on the shelves of mainstream retailers. I’ve had good luck with La Senza in a recent shopping expedition; I’ve even dropped by Walmart and found something in my size. Wacoal has some really lovely items for us bustier types. But Hershey won’t be getting anything off the rack.

I think I should refer her to Snares of Venus for a custom bra fitting that you can do from home. If they stick to the prices quoted on the site (and don’t charge extra for “over” sizes), it’s a great deal for her.

She’s going to be paying for custom bras for as long as she has these monstrosities - er, breasts.

Honestly, I can’t imagine that many would support a woman in a life-threatening choice just to have the world’s largest boobs. (While I never use the word “boob” on principle, when you’ve got 38KKK and you’ve done that deliberately through multiple surgeries, you’ve definitely got “boobs”.)

Dear readers - what do you think? Is this simply a matter of personal choice, or should such extreme make-overs be restricted?

Hmmm. I’ve been hearing this story all around, but what about Maxi Mounds? I think she holds the record right now with 36MMs - there are conflicting sizes when you Google it, but just looking at pictures I definitely think Maxi is bigger. Either way, back to your original question, I think that while it is personal choice and I wouldn’t go so far as to say that there is something inherently wrong with wanting to change your body in this way (not that I would ever want to, but I don’t feel strongly enough about it to say that it’s wrong on some kind of moral grounds), I absolutely think that doctors have an obligation to refuse to perform these treatments when they feel it will be harmful from a medical standpoint.

Holy Cow - Maxi Mounds apparently has polypropylene string breast implants, which irritate the breast tissue and causes continuous growth - due to the breasts filling with fluid. What the heck are some people thinking? I can’t believe that this is legal or ethical for a plastic surgeon to do: however, given today’s international market in plastic surgery, I guess you can go places where the profession is not regulated and get some doctor who lacks any kind of common sense to do almost anything.

She got a bad infection from her KKK impnants and went back to her normal size. I’ve had the thought that “the bigger the better, the tighter the sweater.” She took it too far.
