Sexy Lingerie For Christmas?

Hard to believe, but the lingerie retailers are already gearing up for Christmas. With this in mind, your intrepid BraWise reporter did some research into what you might find if you google Christmas lingerie.

If you are looking for something sexy and slinky (that won’t be staying on long) as opposed to functional (if also sexy) foundation garments, Wickedelic could have what you are looking for. Some of their items are quite sophisticated. For the rest of what they offer, think Frederick’s of Hollywood. These folks are based in the UK, so be prepared for currency conversion and the dreaded shipping charges.

If you can imagine it, you can actually purchase candy cane inspired lingerie through Amazon! I found an item called Candy Cane Mini Dress Garter Sets Christmas Lingerie which is actually both fun and pretty cute. Unlike some sexy lingerie, it still leaves a little something to the imagination. This outfit is from PrettySinful, which features all kinds of costumes for both the boudoir and theme events. You can find a Greek goddess inspired mini dress or your own Arabian Night’s belly dancer costume on this site - which means you could still find something for Halloween at PrettySinful.

Another online retailer that has Christmas covered (or uncovered, as the case may be) is Yum Drop. You can even buy a sexy Christmas elf outfit, complete with garters and red stockings. Would Santa Claus wear garters? Apparently, in his female incarnation he would, and that ensemble is also available on the Yum Drop site.

Of course, we’ve talked before about the hazards of giving lingerie as a gift - so men, tread carefully!

However, retailers are still banking you’ll take the risk: Lingerie Gifts is another site that carries a full set of Christmas-theme lingerie items. They actually have stuff for both men and women. (One garment gives a whole new meaning to hanging the Christmas stocking.)

You know - if you really want to give the gift of lingerie, why not try a gift certificate? You get all the points for the gift - and your sweetheart picks out what she likes. It’s a win-win.
