Is My Playtex Bra 4642 Discontinued?

I’ve heard recently that the Playtex TGIF Super-Soft Wire-Free bra #4642 has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Could you tell me if this is true?
HerRoom does report that this bra is on final closeout because the manufacturer has discontinued it. Other sites do not confirm this – but when a reputable online retailer like HerRoom says it, I think you can consider this true.
There are still a number of retailers who have some stock left, including HerRoom and FreshPair. If you really like this bra, I’d buy up a good supply that will keep you fashionably comfortable until you can determine a good alternative! Note that a number of other Playtex bras that I would have suggested as alternatives are also discontinued. These include Playtex Ultimate Fit Wirefree Microfiber Bra 4646 and the Playtex Passion-net Lightly Lined Wire Free Bra 4024.
I do have some good news: you might consider Playtex TGIF Seamless Stretch Foam Soft Cup Bra 4406 for future bra purchases. This is a t-shirt bra, smooth fitting and soft, that would make a good everyday bra.
No, the 4642 is not discontinued. I can’t say that in the future it will or won’t be, but you should still be able to find it from e-tailers. I’m sorry to say we do not carry this particular item but if you would like to order it, I can bring the item in for you. I hope this helps.
