Gain A Cup Size Without Surgery

Okay – usually anything which says that you can gain a cup size without surgery is a tacky advertisement for a breast cream or some crazy contraption.

Well, this might qualify as a crazy contraption, but it could be coming to a store near you: the inflatable bra pad.

The name of the game is cleavage. In pursuit of that goal, there have been Miracle bras and there have been push-up bras. There have been “chicken cutlets” that helped to increase size and were removable. Some were silicone and some were fabric – there was always a new material for a more natural feel.

Well, now you can inflate a special pad to give you the cleavage of your dreams.

These little beauties are supposed to be small enough to fit in your clutch bag and fully inflated will give you a boost of up to a full cup size. They are made by Debenhams and have just gone on sale in the UK. Within the first hour, the company had sold 50 pairs of the pads online and 180 in the stores. A Debenhams representative said that if sales volume continued at that rate, the company would have sold thousands by day’s end.

Annette Warbuton, head of lingerie buying at Debenhams, said that these pads are the perfect “pick-me-up” for people heading out for an after-work Christmas party. After all, you might not want that killer cleavage at work, but it could be the perfect accessory when you are out on the town.

The pads are an interesting take on the age old problem. The pads are adjustable: so you can fully inflate or only partially inflate, depending on how much enhancement you want. As a result, you don’t have to carry (or wear) multiple pads. They can be quickly deflated, which might be useful to turn off an overly amorous suitor. Just press the silver button on the back to either reduce or deflate entirely.

It’s also a very inexpensive solution: at just £5 a pair (or about $8-9 US, depending on the currency conversion) you get your enhancement without going under the knife or paying thousands. And, unlike surgery, you can decide to go without it when you want to!
