Elle Macpherson Targets Europe With New Launch

Elle Macpherson is going after the European market. She’s launching her lingerie collection, Elle Macpherson Intimates, in a number of key countries, including Germany, Switzerlan, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Greece and the UK.

Macpherson has been doing well in her new role as entrepreneur and lingerie guru. Her line of garments are also sold in the US, Australasia and the Gulf States. (You can buy lingerie in Muslim countries - it’s just done more discreetly.)

Once the current launch is complete, Elle Macpherson Intimates will be available all over the world. Of course, you can always buy online and have it shipped to you, but Macpherson will actually have retail outlets in 30 countries.

Macpherson - also known as “The Bod” - is passionate about fit. Her bras often have seams, because a seam allows for a more exact fit. She is also known for beautiful fabrics and an attention to detail that results in particularly lovely lingerie.

Her collections do not just focus on the slimmest bodies or the smallest breasts, despite Macpherson’s reputation for a toned and trim body: Macpherson has a collection specifically designed for women with cup size D-G. The matching panties in this collection come in sizes up to XL.

The Boudoir collection is a collection of lacy, sensual garments, made to entice. The fabrics are sheer and the pieces are small. Macpherson does not back away from color just because it’s for the boudoir: you can get a hot pink set or a purple set in this collection. She also doesn’t necessarily bend to “tradition”, just because other’s do it. For instance, there is not a single black set in her entire collection this year.
