Chantelle

Dating back to 1876, Chantelle was born when its founder experimented with elastic material in fabrics. He created a rubber vulcanization process that allowed him to make elastic knits. In 1902, he began producing elastic fabric corsets, which revolutionized the fashion market. It was not till 1949 when the company officially branded itself as Chantelle, when it was able to establish its reputation by creating body-shaping undergarments for women.

In 1961, Chantelle produced its first series of bras, which by 1970 were selling over one million units annually. To this day, Chantelle remains a world leader in women’s intimate apparel and figure-enhancing garments. Their headquarters are now located in the suburbs of Paris.

Chantelle’s bras, according to the company website, remain “elegant, glamorous, sophisticated … offering women today a true sensual escape through its collections.” The bras are available in sizes that range from 30A to 44F and span a wide variety of colors and styles for many occasions.

Rather than be described as undergarments, Chantelle’s bras are noted as individual works of art. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Each piece has fine stitched details and patterns. Women are going to want to show off these bras! They are extremely fashionable and romantically trendy.  The lace works as a reminder of romantic inspiration and is common among the pieces.

Chantelle works with trend agencies so that they can stay up-to-date with styling techniques. The company’s designers use this data to predict trends and determine stylish colors and materials when developing their collections. Sketches move from the designer to the fitter where they are made into a pattern. The fabrics used in the bra’s creation are of the highest quality, resulting in their rich beauty.
